TOPSHAM
Three passengers in a sport utility vehicle were transported to a Lewiston hospital after the vehicle rolled over along Route 196 in Topsham early Friday morning.
The crash was reported at 1:20 a.m. near Harpswell Auto Sales, a short distance from the Lisbon town line.
Sgt. Mark Gilliam said Nicholas Hillery, 20, of Lewiston was driving the 2008 Toyota
SUV west on Route 196 when he allegedly crossed the center line. The vehicle went off the left side of the road and rolled over.
Gilliam said Hillery and two other passengers — John Ouellette, 29, of Lewiston, and a female — were transported to Central Maine Medical Center with injuries that weren’t considered life threatening.
No charges were issued.
