TWO ST. JOHN’S CATHOLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS were noted as grant recipients at the school’s first trimester recognition assembly. Pictured here, Jocelyn Carr, left, and Tiffany Jones, right, celebrate their grant award with Principal Tim Forti, center. Jones and Carr were accepted recipients of an Eta Chapter Early-Career Woman Educators Grant, presented by Marina Singer of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. “This is one of the many ways that the Delta Kappa Gamma promotes the professional and personal growth of woman educators and excellence in education,” said Singer. Students also were celebrated, receiving High Honors, Honor Roll and other recognitions, such as Courteous Kind and Helpful Awards, and the Saint John’s Catholic School Spirit Awards.
