LEBANON —  A 24-year-old Lebanon man sought in connection with a round of residential burglaries was apprehended Tuesday by Maine State Police and has since been released on bail.

Trooper Conner Walton of Troop A,
located and arrested Derek Masse, 24, from Lebanon, after a month-long
burglary investigation involving three different residences in the town
of Lebanon, according to a Maine State Police social media posting.

Police said Masse allegedly broke into the three homes and stole
money and a number of electronics.

Police also allege Masse  broke into his former
employer’s workshop and stole power tools and contractor’s
equipment, which they say he later took to pawn shops in Sanford
and in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Masse was taken  to York County Jail, but he didn’t stay there long. A corrections officer on Sunday said Masse posted $500 bail on Nov. 21 – the same day he was arrested.
