HOLLIS — Edmund E. Presby, 66, of Pleasant Hill Road passed way Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 at the Maine Medical Center.  

He was born Dec. 19, 1950 in Biddeford the son of Edmund and Ethel Degrasse Presby.

Edmund attended local school and graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School. 

He first worked for Yudy’s Tire and later for Saco Defense. 

His final place of employment was with RAM Property Management.

A resident of Saco for many years, he moved to Hollis three years ago.

Edmund was a member of Orchard Lodge #215 and Widow Sons.

He enjoyed NASCAR, and all types of racing.

He was proud of the fact he obtained a SCCA license and drove all over New England.

Survivors include two sons James Presby of Hollis and Ed Presby of Scarborough; a daughter Angie Presby of Saco; a brother Dan Presby of Brunswick; two sisters Elizabeth Presby and Elaine Presby of Gorham; and nine grandchildren Tristan, Marco, Leah, Gavin, Kadence, Natalie, Michael, Sean and Gabriella. 

Friends and relatives may attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Washington Avenue United Methodist Church in Old Orchard Beach. A Masonic service will also be conducted by the officers and brethren of Orchard Lodge #215 AF & AM.

Pastor Michael Gray will officiate.

For those wishing to bring food and deserts, a pot luck dinner will follow at the church.
