WELLS — The Maine Department of Transportation will conduct a formal public hearing from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Wells Town Hall to listen to resident concerrns about the Capell Bridge over Merriland River.
DOT representatives will attend the hearing to listen to concerns, receive comments, and answer questions from anyone with an interest in the project.
MaineDOT is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources, and identifying local concerns and issues.
DOT workers are preparing for the $1.2 million bridge reconstruction project, which is .20 of a mile north of Laudholm Farm Road.
Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
