AMANDA SHOREY'S FIRST GRADE STUDENTS lead students and faculty with a morning prayer and pledge of allegiance to commemorate the faithful departed on All Soul’s Day — Nov. 1 — at St. John's Catholic School in Brunswick. In other St. John’s news, Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland’s Bishop Robert P. Deeley was scheduled to visit the students and staff this morning. During the visit, the bishop will also be briefed on the progress of the new multipurpose building set to be built on the school/church campus. The building had its groundbreaking ceremony on Oct. 29.
