The Westbrook American reported on Oct. 23, 1957, that Ronald Engelhardt, a recent graduate of U.S. Navy training, was spending 10 days in Westbrook with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Engelhardt of Oak Street.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Leander Sands and family of Bar Mills were relocating to Augusta. He’d received a promotion at Central Maine Power that required a move.
