AT WEDNESDAY’S BATH CITY COUNCIL MEETING, Councilor Bernard Wyman announced that City Clerk Mary White had been named president of the Maine Town and City Clerks’ Association. “A month ago, I was invited to the Maine Town and City Clerks’ Association, and I had the honor of seeing Mary White become the president,” said Wyman. As part of the announcement, Wyman presented a plaque to the city council from the MTCCA “for appreciation to the City of Bath for its generous support of the Maine Town and City Clerks’ Association and Mary White.” White previously served at the 1st Vice President of the MTCCA “Mary does an amazing job for us. We call her Mother Mary. She keeps us on track, she gets everything ready for us,” said Chair Mari Eosco. “She will be a great president.” “I hope so,” said White. “I’m trying.”
