Through a competitive application process, the Broadreach Apprenticeship Program annually selects a recent college graduate with public relations career aspirations to join the firm in full-time, junior-level capacity. The apprenticeship is an immersive position with the firm that engages in all facets of client work and production. Previous apprentices have used the program to launch successful careers in the public relations profession.
Originally from Maine and a graduate of the University of Maine Orono, Cyr is working towards attaining her Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a presidential member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, and is expected to graduate summa cum laude in the spring of 2018.
Prior to joining Broadreach, Cyr served as an intern with the Heart of Biddeford Coalition, a main street organization dedicated to the development of downtown Biddeford.
During her time with the Heart of Biddeford, Cyr conducted promotion related interviews and various business development tasks, coordinated press releases and media outreach pertaining to Biddeford’s Music in the Park series, as well as managed general publicity for this year’s 4th Annual River Jam Festival.
“I am thankful to have the opportunity to learn from the elite staff at Broadreach,” said Cyr. “I am greatly looking forward to applying my communication skills, as well as coursework business strategies, to develop an integrated experience that will be to the benefit of both Broadreach clients and the agency.”
