OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Residents of Old Orchard Beach will choose two new town councilors and school board members during the Nov. 7 election.
Current Town Councilors Jay Kelley and Joseph Thornton, along with former Town Councilor Roxanne Frenette are vying for two seats on the Town Council. Both positions are two-year terms.
There are three candidates vying for two seats on Regional School Unit 23, serving Old Orchard Beach schools — current School Board member Peter Flaherty and new comers Christopher Lasalle and Christopher Prosser are running for positions.
One of the seats is being vacated by current School Board member Michelle Violette, who is not running for re-election.
Seats on the School Board are for three-year terms.
Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at the Old Orchard Beach High School gymnasium.
