
Police and firefighters responded to a call at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday from a 22-year-old man reporting that he had been stabbed in the leg, according to a press release from OOB Police Capt. David Hemingway.
No other serious injuries were reported in the incident.
The alleged victim was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland where he was treated and released, Hemingway said.
The incident happened near the intersection of Washington and Evergreen avenues prior to being reported to authorities, Hemingway said.
The relationship between the two involved people in the alleged incident is unknown at this time, according to Hemingway.
The identities of those involved are not being released as the investigation is ongoing.
