Faith
Faith is like a muscle that needs to be exercised. The more we exercise the fitter we become. The more we practice, the better our performance. There is great potential in that little mustard seed of faith. As we begin life our parents help us to develop faith in ourselves and in the world around us. Supported by family members, teachers, friends, coworkers we begin to develop a root system that feeds and nourishes us. Somewhere I read this apt description of faith. “What is faith but a combination of boldness, courage, and a feeling that God is on our side, and we can do anything; that God is with us even in our failures, and there is nothing to fear.” God will help us to pick ourselves up and endow us with renewed strength, wisdom and knowledge. There is a certain serenity in faith, a quiet determination and self-confidence. We can rest in it. Faith gives us the courage to live boldly, and not be afraid to risk failure. So be strong, have courage and confidence, and look to Jesus for support.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
