BATH — On Sunday, Sept. 24, the congregation of Grace Episcopal Church in Bath will participate in an Instructed Eucharist during a special service at 9 a.m.

The word “Eucharist” comes from a Greek word meaning “thanksgiving,” and in the Eucharist, Christ’s presence is celebrated. Eucharist is also known as Holy Communion, the Lord’s Supper, or the Mass. In an Instructed Eucharist the different parts of the service are described: their history, purpose, and rubrics are explained.

At the post-service coffee hour, the public will have an opportunity to engage with parishioners and Rev. Dr. Ted Gaiser. All are welcome.

Grace Episcopal Church is located at 1100 Washington St. in Bath. Call (207) 443-3792 or visit www.gracebath.org for more information.
