BRUNSWICK
A Biddeford man accused of pointing a gun at another motorists during a road rage incident was indicted by a Cumberland County Grand Jury last week on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
The charge is a Class C crime punishable by up to five years incarceration and a $5,000 fine.
Brunswick police arrested William Oullette, 29, of Biddeford on July 27. He allegedly pointed a gun at a motorist who had been tailgating him in Brunswick, according to Cmdr. Mark Waltz.
Waltz said police were told by the driver of a pickup truck that he’d been tailgating a silver Pontiac, allegedly driven by Oullette.
The pickup’s driver said he attempted to pass Oullette when Oullette pointed a gun at him. The incident was reported on Pleasant Street at 6:40 p.m.
Waltz said Oullette had a .40 caliber Sig Sauer in his car. He also had his seven-year-old daughter in the vehicle when the alleged incident occurred.
The grand jury also indicted Oullette last week on a charge of criminal threatening, a Class D crime punishable by up to 364 days incarceration and a $2,000 fine.
