BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School freshman football team downed Morse, 28-14 in a hard fought battle on Thursday.
Brunswick had to adjust after losing strong side linebacker Connor Moody to a hip injury.
Behind solid running from Ethan Upham, Cody Larson and Cam Hathaway, and strong tight end play from Evan Molnar and Evan Kilfoil, the Dragons were able to break open the game.
Defensive end Camden Folsom iced the game with an interception and long run back.
The Morse lineman, on both sides of the ball, made life difficult for the Dragons.
Next up for Brunswick is an away game at Lewiston High School this upcoming Thursday.
