BOSTON — Senior mid-fielder Kashka Gammon matched her career high with six points, scoring two goals and adding a pair of assists to lead the Simmons College women’s soccer team to a 9-0 victory over visiting Newbury College at Daly Field in Brighton, Mass., on Friday.
The Sharks evened their record 1-1-0, while the Nighthawks fell to 0-1.
Lauren Williams of Bowdoinham played in goal during the second half for Simmons, turning away a shot in preserving the shutout.
Simmons visits Lesley University on Wednesday.
