The event will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is the 10th and final concert of the town’s 2017 summer concert series at scenic Wells Harbor Park in the Hope Hobbs Gazebo. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved a short distance to the Ward Gym at Wells Jr. High School on U.S. Route 1.
The full concert series features well-known, professional musicians who present various types of music for folks of all ages.
Plenty of free parking is available or take the Wells Trolley to the park.
Admission is free (although a hat is passed around for contributions), refreshments are sold by the Knights of Columbus (a benefit activity), and there is lots of park bench type seating.
Participants can bring blankets, seat cushions or folding chairs and enjoy a picnic.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
