
He was born in Saco on Feb. 19, 1965, the son of Fred and Evelyn Tracy Tenney.
Fred attended local schools and graduated from Biddeford High School.
He was first employed by Deering Ice Cream, Danny’s Deli, TRD Electric and then Community Partners.
Fred was a past member of The Salvation Army band and involved with youth activities. He was also Past President and Trustee of the Biddeford Fraternal Order of Eagles and a former State President.
Fred enjoyed sports, especially the Patriots.
Fred was preceded in death by: a daughter, Kayla Ann Tenney, and both of his parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Tess, Mandi, Shannon and her fiancée Mike; a son, Michael; sisters, Linda Withee and her husband, Reggie, Carol Tenney, Dorothy Bishop, Mattie Kahn, Kathy Carpenter and her husband, Robin, and Judy Chretien and Tom Danis; three grandchildren, Morrisa, Meadow and Michael.
Friends and relatives may attend visiting hours Sunday July 9, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco.
A memorial service will be held Monday July 10, 2017, at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow at The Salvation Army Corp in Old Orchard Beach.
