BATH — The Bath Garden Club garnered several awards at the recent annual meeting of Garden Club Federation of Maine. The club received the 2016 Yearbook Award, first place, 70-99 members; the Stephanie Ann Smith Award for the best active Garden Therapy Program; the Kathleen Marty Civic Development Award, first place large club; Thomas G. Atwell Publicity Award for best publicity dealing with GCFM objectives; Certificate of Recognition for supporting and contributing to Habitat for Humanity; Certificate of Recognition for continuing to maintain a Blue Star Marker; Certificate of Participation for outstanding work with school gardening projects; and Club of Distinction Award for all areas of garden club activities with 335 points.
