BATH — The Bath Middle School softball team picked up an 11-1 win over rival Brunswick Junior High recently.
Camdyn Johnson led the Destroyers from the mound, throwing seven solid frames. The sixth-grader shined with 15 strikeouts and a season low two walks.
Bath’s offense was hot throughout the lineup. Hailie Johnson singled twice and walked, Camdyn Johnson reached base twice (single, walk), Kaylee Creamer singled twice and walked along with Julia Goddard and Catelyn Bradford. Brook Kulis singled three times and Abby Carpenter launched a solo home run for the Destroyers. Xantha Rutledge added a single and a walk.
Bath visits Auburn this upcoming Friday for its final game.
