BATH — Wilson’s played several contests last week in Bath Cal Ripken baseball action.
Wilson’s edged Durham, 11-9. Christian Hallowell, Isaac Lindsey Strout, Caleb Harvey and Drew Jackson pitched for a combined 12 strikeouts.
Hallowell doubled, Harvey had three hits, including a double, and Tuck Mercer singled.
Durham pitchers combined on seven strikeouts.
Wilson’s took on two Lisbon squads, earning an 11-2 win over Lisbon 1 and a 12-7 victory over Lisbon 2.
Jackson, Hallowell and Harvey pitched for 10 strikeouts against Lisbon 1. Hallowell singled, Harvey had three more hits, and Mercer singled.
Harvey, Hallowell and Jackson combined on 13 punch-outs in the victory over Lisbon 2. At the plate, Hallowell singled and doubled, Harvey singled and doubled, Jackson hustled for an inside-the-park home run and singled, and Caleb Mitchell doubled.
In the team’s final game of the week, the squad faced BIW and won, 13-8.
Jackson, Hallowell and Harvey again combined on 13 strikeouts.
Harvey doubled twice, Hallowell singled and doubled, Mercer chipped in a single, Mitchell singled and Jackson hit two home runs.
Eli Sommers, Waylon Rhourer and Gage Sutter pitched BIW with eight strikeouts. Rhourer singled, Lucas Hinton and Landon Rodgers each singled twice, Sutter doubled and Isaah Kilton singled.
