STANDISH — The Biddeford girls lacrosse team picked up a 14-8 win over hosting Bonny Eagle on Thursday.

Paige Laverriere led the Tigers with four goals and two assists while Peyton McKeown added two goals and two assists.

Alexandra Farley led the Scots with four goals while Natalie Bushy scored twice in the loss.

Biddeford goalie Eliza Gilliam recorded eight saves in the win.

Thornton Academy 11, Cheverus 5

The Trojans picked up an 11-5 win over visiting Cheverus on Thursday.

Amanda Cyr led TA with a game-high six goals while Paige LeBlanc and Mackenzie Basile added a pair each.

Cat Henaire would score a goal in the win.

Massabesic 13, Windham 6

The Mustangs continued to roll this spring with a 13-6 win over Windham.

The defending conference champions are 9-0 this year and look poised for another title run.

Wells 1, Greely 0

The Warriors gutted out a tough 1-0 win over visiting Greely on Thursday.

Wells scored the game’s only run in the first inning when Olivia Clay knocked Anya Chase across the plate.

Chase got the complete game win in the circle for Wells, giving up just three hits, no walks and striking out 12.

Sacopee Valley 16, Old Orchard 2

Sacopee Valley cruised to a 16-2 win in five innings over Old Orchard Beach on Thursday afternoon.

Morgan Howlett-Brown had a solid day for OOB, hitting a homerun in the first inning and adding another RBI in the third.

Wells 9, Greely 2

The Warriors would top the first-place Rangers 9-2. Greely falls to fourth in the standings while Wells rises to second.
