WALDO (AP) — Maine State Police have made an arrest three months after a man was found stabbed to death outside a home in the town of Waldo.
Officials say 24-year-old Victoria Scott of Rockport was arrested Thursday after she was indicted on a manslaughter charge.
Investigators say she was involved in the death of 43-year-old Edwin Littlefield of Belmont on Feb. 8. His body was found in Waldo after the Waldo Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call.
Police questioned people in the house, and the investigation continued for months.
Scott made her first court appearance Friday and was being held at the Waldo County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or property worth $35,000. Jail paperwork didn’t indicate if she had a lawyer.
