BIDDEFORD — Joseph Marcel Armand Ledoux, 90, of Biddeford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at home.
He was born in Vinalhaven on Oct. 24, 1926, a son of Armand and Leontine (Berube) Ledoux.
At an early age the family relocated to the Old Orchard Beach area. .
Joe served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
On Jan. 30, 1970, Joe married his wife Anita (Deprey) Ledoux. He was employed as an electrical contractor throughout Saco, Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach for many years.
He enjoyed the outdoors and taking trips to camp with family and friends. Joe was an avid gardener and liked to take long walks on the CC Road and on the beach.
He was predeceased by his wife Anita Ledoux on Oct. 16, 2015 and by two sisters Jeanette Gerrish and Lucien Cook.
He is survived by Guy Deprey, Andy Deprey and his wife Claire and their families, two brothers Joseph Rene Ledoux and Victor Ledoux and his wife Rita and one sister Adele Ledoux and many nieces and nephews.
