WARREN (AP) — Police in Maine are investigating a head-on collision that killed two people in Warren.
Police say two drivers died in the three-vehicle crash at 6:20 a.m. on Monday.
They say 57-year-old Kenneth Chipman III of Warren crossed the center line in his car and hit two SUVs head-on, one after another.
Chipman died in the crash along with 67-year-old Cheryl Brimson of Rockport, driver of the second SUV. Her husband survived, as did the driver of the other SUV.
The crash happened on U.S. 1.
