Kennebunk Police say Justin White of Lyman, 23, failed to turn left correctly from Ross Road onto U.S. Route 1 about 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
White’s Mazda passenger sedan left the roadway and traveled between a condominium sign and a utility pole before it struck the building at 79 Portland Ave. in Kennebunk.
The driver was not hurt in the crash, but a passenger riding in White’s car was taken to the hospital suffering from minor injuries.
No occupants of the attorney’s office were harmed and damage to the building was not significant, police say.
The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed yet regarding the accident.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
