
She was born in Biddeford, Maine, on Jan. 13, 1947, a daughter of the late Roy L. and Dorothy O. (Stanley) Locke.
She was a graduate of Kennebunk High School. Soon after graduation, she married John M. Hobkirk and moved to Florida. Together they raised three children.
Sally’s greatest joy was spending time wth her many friends and family. Her passion was her antique business known as “Sally’s Red Barn.”
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Janice Hobkirk Frye, and Darlene Hobkirk, both of Florida.
She is survived by her husband, John M. Hobkirk and her son, John Michael Hobkirk Jr., both of Florida; two grandchildren, Amanda Kramer and her husband, Joseph, of Florida, and Shauni Frye of South Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Leia; two brothers, James B. Locke and his wife, Lee, of Kennebunk, and Robert W. Locke and his wife, Rosa, of Coventry, Rhode Island; and six sisters, Phyllis MacDonald of Lyman, Donna Palmer and husband, Stephen, of Alfred, Sandra Locke of Alfred, Diane Locke of Alfred, Linda Tripp and husband, Stephen, of Cornish, and Nancy LeBrun and husband, Mark, of Alfred.
