BERWICK (AP) _ Police say a 25-year-old man shot and killed himself during a standoff with officers in Berwick.
Police say that they found the body of Jared Greenlaw inside his home on Saturday.
Authorities say Greenlaw had fled Friday night after firing a handgun at another man at Trackside Tacos in Somersworth, New Hampshire.
The other man was not hurt.
Police say Greenlaw then barricaded himself at his home. Somersworth police issued warrants for his arrest on charges of second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault and reckless use of a firearm.
Officers heard a gunshot from inside the home at 7 a.m. and found Greenlaw’s body at 10 a.m.
The state medical examiner’s office is performing an autopsy, and the investigation is continuing.
