An early morning fire Sunday at a used-car garage in Windham set off explosions but there were no injuries, officials said.

The fire at Ron’s Auto Sales at 388 Tandberg Trail started at about 12:30 a.m., forcing some traffic delays, according to a dispatcher.

WCSH reported that three cars were destroyed in the fire.

Fire Chief Brent Libby told WCSH that the fire was fed by the usual combustible material in a garage setting, including welding supplies and automotive fluids. He said the fire did not appear to be suspicious.
