Seniors meet to eat
Westbrook Senior Citizens will be served a meal at noon on Monday, March 20, at the Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St.
The menu includes macaroni & cheese, salad, rolls and frosted cake. The Port City Band will entertain.

Blood drive
The Red Cross is sponsoring two blood donation dates this month in Westbrook.
Olympia Sports, 15 Bradley Drive, is hosting one 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21. The other is set for 1-6 p.m. in the Public Safety Building, 570 Main St.

Owens in ‘Swan Lake’
Marie Claire Owens of Westbrook is performing in the Maine State Ballet production of “Swan Lake” that opens this month and continues through April 9 at Maine State Ballet Lopez Theater, 348 U.S. Route One, Falmouth. .

Westbrook Women’s Club’s Roberta Morrill honors Catherine Nutter, a Westbrook High School student, as last year’s junior representing the city at Dirigo Girls’ State. The woman’s club also sponsored Mohammed Elhag, a sophomore in 2016, to attend the Maine Youth Leadership Conference last year at the University of Southern Maine.
