KENNEBUNKPORT — Attention college students: an opportunity awaits that you may not be aware of.
The Seacoast Garden Club has up to $250 in scholarship funds available to any resident of Kennebunkport, Kennebunk or Arundel who is pursuing non-degree training in the areas of horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, city planning or other related fields.
Those interested may apply for the scholarship up to April 15.
It is necessary to complete an application and submit a letter describing the student’s background and goals and the scholarship is awarded on merit rather than need.
