SPRINGVALE — Kenneth I. Sawyer, 75, of Springvale, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough.
Kenneth was employed as a machinist for many years, retiring from W.S. Bessett in Sanford.
He is preceded in death by: his first wife, Janice (Gooding) Sawyer; second wife, Dottie (Oulton) Sawyer. and one brother, Ralph Sawyer.
He is survived by his children: Wendi Belanger and her husband, Brian of Biddeford, Diane Frechette of Biddeford, and Richard Lawrence and his wife, Jennifer of Sanford; a sister, Marjorie Johnson and her husband, Robert of Portland; and five grandchildren, Anthony Wilson, Patrick Wilson, Shane Belanger, Tori Lawrence, and Hunter Frechette.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Town Club, 4 Washington St. in Sanford.
