TURNER — The Brunswick High School girls Orange junior varsity basketball team had a solid team effort in defeating host Leavitt, 44-15, on Thursday.
Each member of the Dragons scored as Brunswick led 13-1 after the first quarter, 23-5 at the half and 41-9 after three quarters of play.
MacKenzie Burrows led the balanced attack with 10 points, MacKenzie Dorr added eight points and Baily Hartill scored six points for Brunswick.
Anna Kousky led the Dragons’ half-court defensive effort, particularly in the third quarter when she had four steals to help extend Brunswick’s lead.
