Two suspects remain at large after invading a home in Palmyra on Saturday and assaulting and robbing its owner.
Maine State Police Cpl. Chris Carr said the invasion occurred just after 7 p.m. on Warren Hill Road. After assaulting the homeowner, the men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, along with some prescription drugs, Carr said. He said the men might have gotten into a vehicle parked a short distance away.
The men were described as 5 foot 10 to 6 feet tall, of medium build. and dressed in camouflage clothing.
The homeowner was taken to Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield with minor injuries, and was treated and released.
An investigation is underway as a search for the suspects continues.
