TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School girls jayvee basketball team improved to 5-5 with a 44-31 win over Leavitt this past Friday.
The Eagles, paced by Theresa Breed with 14 points and 10 rebounds, led at the quarter breaks, 14-7, 25-21 and 38-21. Ainsley Bryant chipped in with eight points, five rebounds and eight steals, while Alexa Eaton and Abby Sirois split 14 points.
Leavitt was led by Taylor White with 15 points.
