ROCKPORT — The Morse High School girls jayvee basketball team fell behind early and ultimately fell to Camden Hills, 57-41 in recent action. The host Windjammers led at the quarter breaks, 13-6, 25-15 and 41-28.

Marija Mendenica posted a game-best 22 points for Morse (3-8), while Dory Kulis had nine and Rosa Atienza five. Paige Faulkingham and Ali Donavan split four points and Abby Sreden sunk a free throw. The Shipbuilders made 8-of-16 from the line.

Camden Hills, which hit 13-of-24 from the line, was paced Nicole Brown (15 points), Audrey Bowman (13 points) and Mya Wiley (13 points).

Morse hosts Erskine Academy today.
