THE FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL and Lisbon High School indoor track teams were two of nine to compete in a Western Maine Conference meet at the University of Southern Maine this past Friday night. In the photos, beginning at the top left and moving clockwise, Freeport’s Haley Boyden prepares to release during the girls senior division shotput event, Henry Jaques sets the pace and rounds the corner in the one-mile run, Emma Abbott (31) and Patricia Dupere (1) run side by side in the girls 55-meter dash and Lisbon’s Alan Lavoie leaps through the air during the long jump. Jaques took first place in the one-mile (4.44.37) as the Freeport boys finished in second place behind Greely and the Falcon girls took third place behind Greely and Lake Region. The Lisbon boys finished eighth.
