BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade girls basketball team dropped a 42-34 decision to Tripp on Thursday.
Hannah Fortier hit three 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for the Huskies, with Chloe Coombs (12 rebounds, six steals) and Emma Banks (eight boards) leading the defense.
After a 9-9 deadlock after a quarter, Tripp grabbed an 18-17 at the half and extended out to a 32-24 advantage through three quarters.
Brunswick dropped to 3-5, while Tripp improved to 6-1.
