CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Junior Sally Ceesay and senior captain Allison Hill of Brunswick won two events apiece, as the Bates College women’s track and field team began the 2017 indoor season by finishing in second place between MIT and Colby on Saturday at MIT.
The host Engineers won the team scoring with 161.5 points, followed by Bates (135) and Colby (74.5).
Hill won the 200-meter dash in 26.63 seconds and the 60-meter hurdles in 8.97 seconds.
Bates will host its lone home meet of the indoor season next weekend with the Bates Invitational, with competition including the University of Maine-Orono and Bryant University. The meet starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
