LIVERMORE — The state medical examiner’s office will try to determine if a Livermore Falls man who died after a car crash early Sunday died from injuries suffered in the crash or from a medical condition.

Maine State Police said Monday that passenger Shawn Berry, 41, started having an apparent medical issue early Sunday. The driver, Brady Romano, 37, of Livermore Falls pulled over on Route 4 in Livermore and was rear-ended. The crash took place around 1:20 a.m.

Authorities said Berry became unresponsive after the crash. The other driver, Sarah Clark, 30, of Farmington, and another person performed CPR, but Berry died.

The Androscoggin County District Attorney’s Office will review the crash report once it’s completed, according to state police.
