A man suspected of involvement in a shooting Thursday morning in Cutler has turned himself into police.

Ethan Bryant, 24, of Cutler turned himself in to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office around 10:30 a.m., nine hours after the shooting at 20 Coastal View Court in Cutler, WCSH-TV reported.

The victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the abdomen and was flown by Lifeflight helicopter to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. His identity and condition were not known.

Washington County Sheriff Barry Curtis said Bryant has been charged with Class A elevated aggravated assault. He was being held Thursday night at the Washington County Jail.
