TURNER — The Brunswick Junior High School girls eighth-grade basketball team dropped a 42-23 decision to Tripp recently.
Tripp led 12-4. 24-11 and 33-17 at the quarter breaks as Sara Carpenter had a game-high 18 points.
Hannah Foster paced the Huskies (1-1) with 17 points.
Brunswick visits Mt. Ararat on Thursday.
