BATH
A Boothbay Harbor man was charged with driving to endanger following a road rage incident in Bath last week.
The incident was reported just before 4 p.m. on Nov. 29. Bath Police Lt. Robert Savary said two vehicles scraped mirrors while merging on the Sagadahoc Bridge, which caused one of the drivers to become enraged.
As the vehicles exited from the bridge onto Vine Street, the angry driver allegedly repeatedly struck the other vehicle, which was in front of him.
There was no significant damage to the vehicle that was struck intentionally. The driver pulled over, called for help and gave dispatchers a description of the offending vehicle.
Savary said Officer Garrett Olson pulled over the vehicle on Congress Avenue and summonsed Kristopher Peters, 40, of Boothbay Harbor with driving to endanger.
