NORTH BATH — Dana L. Stimpson, 68, of Varney Mill Rd., North Bath died unexpectedly at his home on Nov 30, 2016. He was the son of Phyllis (Bailey) & Albert Stimpson Sr. Born Nov 18, 1948. He attended Brunswick schools, and joined the US Navy serving in Vietnam 1966- 1971. He held his service in the highest regard. He worked for Lane Construction, City of Bath Public Works Dept. and Winship Green before retiring.

He was very kind and generous man, love of family was top priority, and he was very proud of his children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments. He was a 24 year member of Smith Tobey #21 American Legion, A Civil Warhistory buff, and a New England sports fan. He could make a mean pot of baked beans and biscuits to boot along with a spaghetti sauce that would knock your socks off. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to camp. He was always ready to give or get a good chuckle.

He is and will be dearly missed by his loved ones and friends.
