SEVERAL MT. ARARAT and Lisbon high school field hockey players, all seniors, were recognized as All-State honorees at the Maine Field Hockey Association’s 23rd All-State banquet on Sunday at the Augusta Civic Center. Selections were announced and Mt. Ararat’s Haley Frizzle and Lisbon’s Kate Philbrook, Bree Daigle and Chase Collier made the All-State team. Karlie Brillant of Mt. Ararat, daughter of Ken and Vickie Brillant, was awarded the coveted Steph Lunt 12th Player Award for her positive outlook, passion for the game and unselfish contributions to the Mt. Ararat field hockey team. Chase Collier of Lisbon, daughter of Theresa Collier, was one of three finalists for Miss Maine Field Hockey 2016, given annually to the top senior field hockey player in Maine. Collier, a midfielder, is the first ever finalist from Lisbon. Lily Posternak from York won the award, while Kylie Nelson of Belfast was also a finalist. Pictured here, left to right, are Mt.
