BATH — The Bath Middle School boys basketball team kicked off its season with a 46-40 win over Tripp recently.
The Destroyers (1-0) held the lead throughout, taking the quarter breaks, 16-9, 30- 16 and 40-28.
Josh Ter Mors led the way with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Jansen Morrison posted 12 points and Elliot Dorr hauled in five boards.
Tripp (0-1) was paced by Hunter Hayes with 12 points.
Tommy Guile and Gabe Oucion ran the floor and played well on defense for Bath, which will host Brunswick on Wednesday.
