The Cancer Care Center of York County announce that Joseph “Joe” Rella has been named lead dosimetrist. Rella is primarily responsible for treatment planning duties at the Cancer Care Center in Sanford. He has been in the Radiation Therapy field for more than 20 years and has held many titles including Chief Medical Dosimetrist in Hackensack, New jersey, Director of Treatment Planning Services in Newport Beach, California as well as a Clinical Supervisor of Radiation Oncology in Meriden, Connecticut. Rella has been a C.M.D since 1991 and completed his education as a Radiation Therapist at Montefiore Medical Center School of Radiation Therapy in Bronx, New York in 1995.
