FREEPORT — FreeportUSA’s annual Sparkle Celebration will take place Friday-Sunday, Dec. 2-4.

The free holiday festival starts at 6 p.m. Friday, with a parade on Main Street. The weekend-long event will feature a talking Christmas tree, concerts, movies, horse drawn carriage rides, and more.

The event also includes the Sparkle Express train adventure on Dec. 3. There will be two 45-minute trips on the Amtrak Downeaster, one at 3 p.m. and another at 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person and can be bought online.
