
The construction project began Monday and is expected to take between two to four weeks to complete.
Workers will create a new airlock vestibule onto the entry of the general office from the parking lot and a handicap accessible ramp from the paver walkway off the front of the building.
In a separate project, the evergreen tree at the front of the Town Hall building will be removed for the handicap ramp installation and is intended to be used as the town’s official Christmas Tree.
Town Hall entry and exiting will be made from the rear door. All other doors will be blocked during construction and available for emergency access only.
Town officials are asking for safety reasons that members of the public park in the parking spaces closest to the rear of the building.
