The workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during Prelude weekends of Dec. 3 and 4 and Dec. 10 and 11.
The Artisan Workshop at Post House Commons enables one-of-a-kind Maine artisans to demonstrate their crafts and sell their unique wares.
On hand for both weekends will be:
• Steve Bertell of Little River Decoys, an award-winning master carver of handcrafted decoys, shorebirds and decorative carvings;
• Christina Teneyck of Constant Gardener Arts, featuring botanical-inspired fine arts and crafts using native flora and fauna. Items include jewelry, herbarium pressings, watercolors, cards and gifts;
• Duncan Scott of Misto’s Plant Company, featuring locally handcrafted succulent container gardens that convey the rustic, organic tone of the New England landscape; and
• Lori Milne of Get Hooked By Lori, a fibre artist that uses hand dyed wool to create primitive rug-hooked specialties, including decorative ornaments and pillows.
Post House Commons is at 2178 U.S. Route 1 in Wells.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
